I’ve been going back and forth in my brain whether or not to write about this. Of course, since I have such a small following, I ended up deciding it won’t do much harm to. So here it is.
Like many kinksters, I’ve been a fan of Insex almost since the beginning. From that inception, many people had mentioned they they wanted to know more about where it was being produced, and for a time the main studio was a well kept secret. Over time though, people tend to let things slip and soon it became well known that the studio was in Brooklyn, NY more specfically on ‘J’ Street.
A few years into the life of the production, the owner of it all (pd) acquired a rural piece of property that became known as ‘The Farm’. It had been mentioned that it was outside of NYC, in Upstate NY, far away from prying eyes. Videos referenced scenic country roads, and occasionally a rural town or two, but the editors were pretty careful not to allow any defining landmarks where one could put 2 and 2 together in order to discern the actual address. Of course back then Google Earth didn’t exist, so scouring satellite photos in search of the place would have been impossible, unless you had access to more detailed information. Back then, the Internet wasn’t as user friendly as it is today.
I’ve been a member of Fetlife almost since the beginning of it as well. There are several forums that reference Insex, and more than a few people have inquired over the years if anyone would reveal the actual location of the Farm. Thus far, no one has, and hopefully no one will be dumb enough to try. pd and his family don’t need the notoriety or unwelcome visitors, and we who appreciate what he and his staff (and co-creators) produced need to respect his privacy.
That being said, about a month ago I figured it out. Obviously I’m not going to say how, but it took a bit of sleuthing. After a moment of euphoria, it dawned on me that now I had information that I couldn’t share with anyone. Oh well, at least this quest is completed. And it gave me a goal, though a fleeting one. I intend to see it with my own eyes some day. But just to drive by. Not stop, not take any pictures or anything. Just drive by and see for my own edification.
That’s it. That’s my thought for the day. Cheers.
